What is Quorn?

Quorn is an excellent food made from mycoprotein, a mushroom-like fungus. It is textured to resemble meat, but is suitable for vegetarians (though it always contains eggs and sometimes milk, so vegans might cry about it), and it comes in a range of tasty products such as burgers and fillets.

What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a Web site that gathers enthusiasts of a particular topic, typically something about boys kissing other boys presented in a font designed for gnats. Fanlistings help to keep teenage girls off the streets by giving them little button images to make.

Tell me more about this "Quorn".

You can acquire Quorn in a fair bit of Western Europe. You can also get it in the United States, but nobody has heard of it there because it isn't made of meat and cheese. Speaking of places, there are quite a few places called Quorn.

Scientists recently discovered that Quorn is the best food out of all foods¹. They didn't think much of the steaks, but concluded that all Quorn is at least acceptable. McDonald's in Britain had a "Quorn Premiere" burger for a little while, but they axed it in 2005. They will not escape lightly for spurning the Quorn.

Some people confuse Quorn with other things. Don't be one of those people.

The recommended English dictionary for Quorn lovers is the Chambers Dictionary on CD-ROM because (i) it includes Quorn and (ii) even the thesaurus part includes Quorn. Quorn in a thesaurus!
